Job description
The head of studio supervises and organizes the activities of the Visual Design Studio, from concept to production, ensuring consistency and quality of the final output. He or she translates the high level product/brand strategy into effective digital assets with main responsibility for packaging, Point of Sales Material, and other marketing materials from concept development to actual production. Works with business managers to develop and produce key communication materials for a range of products and promotional campaigns. Works closely with the advertising, PR and sales and marketing departments to make sure that campaigns are consistent and accurate across the EMEA region. Is responsible for the performance and constant development of the team and provides the right tools and assets for them to excel. He or she ensures timely, qualitative and accurate deliveries. Selects and liaise with agencies and suppliers and is responsible for the sound administration and monitoring of the VDS budget.
Required
The ideal candidate has a solid Design – including digital - work experience (at least 7 years) either on the corporate and agency side. Is a strong team player and is sensible to people management. Has strong customer focus, can listen and easily translate the business request in the appropriate design solution. Is well organized, has eye for quality and details, is timely and reliable. Is passionate, can work under pressure and is creative/disruptive in the way of thinking. Can work in a matrix organization and lead by influence. Marketing background or education is a plus. He or she speaks English fluently.
