On behalf of an international technology company, creatieven.com is looking for a web information architect. The company provides Internet solutions to enable ISPs, media companies and advertisers to build close relationships with consumers on the Internet.
Job description
The web information architect leads the user-centered design process, web strategy, information architecture development, and interaction design to create interactive solutions for the company’s clients. He or she performs research using heuristic site evaluations and competitive analysis, communicates the results and implications. The web information architect partners with the development team to create well-integrated solutions. Works closely with clients to translate the business strategies into standard deliverables for content-rich, web-based projects.
Required
Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, HCI, visual design, or a related field. Five years progressive experience in all facets of information architecture: user interaction, visual design and front-end development. The information architect has a solid grasp of web design principals and a good understanding of front-end web technologies (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash). The ideal candidate is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, has client management experience and excellent communication skills.
