Job description
The designer will work in a young and enthousiastic team that is focussed on the specialities of each person. He or she is responsible for creating original and versatile designs for floral packaging. Creates artwork and packaging elements that work well across various media. Is able to conceptualize complete lines and thinks in collections for different occassions that fit in the company's inventory and that meets the request of retailers. Dynamic atmosphere with tight deadlines. The designer will regularly travel across Europe to meet customers.
Required
Wanted is a packaging designer with at least five years of working experience in a creative and product development position. Excellent and impressive portfolio. Minimal hbo degree. Able to create mood boards based on trends 1.5 year upfront. Strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Knowledge of printing processes and quality elements on product level. Able to examine proofs, samples and printed sheets. Strong skills in creating patterns. Conceptualizing and designing graphic elements based on market research. Able to represent the company at customers and to participate in management meetings and brainstorm sessions. He or she speaks English and preferably German or French too. Has a good understanding on how to approach customers and how to set up and maintain good communications and relationships.
